How to Install WordPress Step by Step

  • Download the WordPress installation package

This is the first step of installation process. In this step, you have to download the WordPress from its official download page.   • Extract the downloaded file of WordPress to a new folder.

Did  a message pop up? Read the message. Does it say that you do not have a wp-config.php file? So create one right now. See a Create a Configuration File button and click it. Now a message will appear on your screen. It will ask you to prepare for the installation. Since you already have the important information related to it, so just go. Click the ‘let’s go’ button right away. Now put the details of your recently created MySQL database and submit them. Now WordPress will check your setting. If the details that you have entered are correct, a confirmation screen will appear. If not, then WordPress will ask you to fix the settings. If you get a confirmation message, then click on the ‘Run the install’ button.

Almost done. Now just write down the title of your new website and your administrative username. Apart from that, be clear whether you want search engines to index your website or not. After you fill all this information, click the install WordPress button. Do not forget to provide your real email address and do remember your password.
